Turks & Caicos Eases COVID-19 Requirements for Travel
For over two years now we’ve been closely following the travel restrictions that our country’s leaders have implemented since March of 2020. While we don’t always agree with their decisions, and we certainly lost revenues as a result, it seems that things are starting to return to normal for those who want to visit Turks and Caicos in 2022 and beyond. We are very pleased to share some recent updates that were published on the VisitTCI website as of May 1, 2022.
Quarantine is no longer required.
Travel insurance is no longer required.
COVID-19 tests of visitors are no longer being conducted.
TCI Assured Travel Authorization is no longer required.
Face Masks are no longer required.
Capacity restrictions for all restaurants and bars have been lifted.
At this point, to enter into our country, only proof of vaccination is required by travelers over the age of 18. According to the website, “vaccination status will be checked by your airline at check-in and upon arrival in the Turks and Caicos by immigration officials. You must have had your final course of vaccine at least 14 days prior to your arrival in TCI. To get more details on this wonderful changes, please visit the TCI website.
