Crumbs of Wisdom ~ Spring 2022
The Sufi poet Rumi wrote, " Love is the bridge between you and everything "
I encourage you to open your eyes and take a moment right now to look around you.
What do you see if you look with your heart, not your hurt?
What do you see if you gaze with gratitude instead of greediness?
What do you see if you look with grace for all human beings, not just one human being?
You see Love.
You see love in a child's sparkling eyes, contagious giggles, and joie de vivre.
You feel love in nature's quiet heartbeat of the trees, ancient wisdom of the land, and the warmth of the sun that creates life in a budded flower.
If you look deep, you can even see love in your heartache, when you’ve lost someone dear to you. You can also see love when someone hurts you, or you hurt someone else. If you look deep enough, You can see love as a catalyst for change or as a plow that clears your garden of resentment, fear, jealousy and rage.
If you crack open your heart to all that is around you, you can see love in everything - absolutely everything.
