After many months of being closed off to the world, the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) reopened to travel and tourism in late July. While Villa Oasis had to postpone many guest reservations that were mostly delayed until 2021, we still have some confident souls willing to handle a few new challenges needed for island travel during the pandemic. We were overjoyed to welcome our first guests to Villa Oasis recently and share some of their thoughts and photos for those of you considering a vacation to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Grace Bay Beach!

While Villa Oasis can accommodate up to 15 guests, this small group of eight adults genuinely enjoyed our “island home away from home” without needing to access our private studio as well. They took advantage of many of our amenities like complimentary snorkel gear, beach chairs, and standup paddle boards. But it sounds like our infinity pool was truly the hit for some of these guests!

While we try to explain just how close Villa Oasis is to the beach and water, this drone picture our guests took really shows that you simply can’t get any closer.

And finally, we must give credit where credit is due, and that is to Romeo - the on-site manager for Villa Oasis. Beyond managing the maintenance of the home and handing all guest preparations, Romeo is also in charge of all new cleaning requirements to ensure the safety of all guests. This group even shared their photos of Romeo as he prepared for their outdoor dinner on the expanded patio.

“One of the keys to the stay was having Romeo available to provide information, make grocery runs, and get us to the airport. He was great, and we can’t say enough about the difference he made. The prepared breakfast and dinners coordinated with Romeo were beyond belief, and important because the island was strongly enforcing a curfew being lifted in October. ”
